"Carpenter" is an original performance art piece created by Rick DiBello. It explores the relationship between god and his offspring and the exploitation of the working class to suit the needs of the wealthy. Rick DiBello - a musician, actor, and artist of 26 years - has long been known for his varied musical ventures ranging from Erie's first punk band "Pistol Whip" in 1977 to the psycho hillbilly sounds of the "Cattle Cruisers" to the David Lynch influenced "Torn Curtain". The last seven years have been mainly dedicated to theatre with lead roles in "Reservoir Dogs" and "The Dreamer Examines His Pillow". DiBello is also the Sound Designer and Music Director of the Roadhouse Theatre. His latest projects include "The Rocky Horror Show", "Cabaret" and "Always...Patsy Cline". "Carpenter", however will mark DiBello's debut in the moving arts. His original score for "Carpenter" is reminiscent of the ambient works of Brian Eno and horror film soundtracks. Rick Lopez on drums and Joe Pop on guitars will provide additional noise.
